We had to
keep a little girl from Gracie's last litter
and Fergie is the cutest little button.
She is full of herself and she has now
learnt that her mom will always be queen bee.
We called this the "meant to be" litter as Gracie was
due to be spayed the next winter but came in early and
Bruce just happened to be in town. He was the #1 Finnish Lapphund in Canada
2009. She has big shoes to fill in the
show ring.
Fergie got her first 3 points and didn't
fool around going BOS over specials and 7
lappies in the ring. At the MCA August
show she again got 3pts, BOS and Best Puppy.
Feb 2011 she completed her Championship and
in May got Best Puppy in Match :)
Fergie had a go at the sheep and qualified for
her CKC Herding Instinct Certificate.
At the 1st
FLCC National Specialty she was BOS and the
next month completed her AKC Championship in
4 shows being the first Canadian
owned/bred/handled Finnish Lapphund to do
so.
***Aug 2011, Fergie was
the 1st Canadian bred/owned Finnish Lapphund to be an
AKC Champion ****
2nd FLCC National Specialty
was held May 19th, 2012 where she recieved
Award of Merit. Also at the all breed
show that weekend got 2 group placements.
As Sept 2015
she is a CKC Grand Champion !!! We are
very proud of all her accomplishments.
She has added many beautiful pups to our
gene pool.
